Shoji Nishio (December 5, 1927 – March 15, 2005) was an 8 Dan Aikikai Shihan. He was one of Morihei Ueshiba’s post-war-era students in the Hombu.

Morihiro Saito (March 31, 1928 – May 13, 2002) was born in the Ibaraki prefecture, Japan. He practiсed Aikido for 56 years and been one of the few 9 Dan-holders in the Aikikai.
Leave a CommentUlf Evenas Shihan was born on 3 November 1946 in Trollhattan, Sweden. His Budo way began with a Kyokushin Karate but soon after, in 1968, he switched to Aikido which he studied under Carl Hansson in Gothenburg who had a background in Judo, Ju-Jitsu.
Leave a CommentNebi Vural Sensei was born on September 29, 1951, near the Kars city, Turkey. At the age of 15, he started his martial arts way with the Karate in Ankara. He practiced for 7 years and moved to Judo and Jujutsu until he moved to France to study.
Leave a CommentSumo has deep roots from the Shinto religion of Japan, has about 1500 years of history and is still practiced professionally only in Japan. Sumo today is considered as a Gendai Budo which literally means a modern Budo.
