Nebi Vural

Nebi Vural Sensei was born on 29 September 1951 year near the Kars city, Turkey. At the age of 15 he started his martial arts way with the karate in Ankara. He practiced karate for 7 years and after that he learned judo and jujutsu also until he went to France to get his higher education.

This is where he met aikido and a big reason to make a life decision was a small-sized man named Nobuyoshi Tamura whom he met in 1973 and considers himself as Tamuras desciple and successor up to this moment.

Vural Sensei managed to travel to Japan several times at different schools to improve his aikido skills. During these and others trips of his life he managed to collect experience from Kisshomaru and Moriteru Ueshibas, Kisaburo Osawa, Sodateru Arikawa, Rinjiro Shirata, Morihiro Saito, Mutsuro Nakazono, Norihiko Ichihashi, Mutsuro Nakazono, Kazuo Chiba, Yoshimitsu Yamada (and a post link), Masatomi Ikeda, Toshikazu Ichimura, Mitsunari Kanai, Masando Sasaki, Seiichi Sugano and others.

Nebi Vural Sensei lives in France and gives regular lessons at a dojo in Blois city. Also he has a very busy seminar shedule. Cuba, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, Israel, Turkey, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany and a lot of them in the different cities of France.

Along with being the technical director of Turkey Aikido and Budo Federation, sensei has been the French Aikido Federation’s eminent technial firector since 1985. He was awarded an aikido diploma by the french government and currently is the technical adviser to various countries.

He is the creator and mentor of the anual International Aikido Festival. A head of Eurasia Aikido Organzation. What’s interesting about the festival is that participating teams number is big  from the countries all over the world and this fact makes festival exceptional.
